What happens on a Sunday?

44729

We meet every Sunday at 10:30 am, for a time of praise, worship, teaching and fellowship.

The service usually lasts about an hour to an hour and a quarter

There is no dress code – members of the congregation come dressed however they feel comfortable.

What you can expect

The service includes a mixture of old and new songs and is led by one of our worship leaders assisted by the worship band. Screenshot 2026-03-13 at 09.50

Alongside sung worship, there is time for prayer, and of course, a time for teaching, usually by the pastor but other members of the preaching team are also encouraged to use their gifts to equip and challenge those attending (the use of gifts is encouraged at GBC).

The service is very informal – no need to worry about when to stand or sit, you can do whichever you feel most comfortable.

Our desire is to worship God with our whole being, under the influence of the Holy Spirit, in a relaxed,  family gathering, where the Word of God is preached in a way relevant to today.

Children

Children are very welcome, we do not mind about noise, we were all young once!

Normally children will stay with their parent or guardian for the first part of the service and then when indicated by the worship leader will leave to go their own group, however, if you are new here and would prefer your child to stay with you, that is fine too.

Please do come and join us.
